Rocket Football to Host Spring Showcase at Glass Bowl on Saturday, April 8

TOLEDO, Ohio – Fans can get a preview of Toledo Rockets football team when the defending MAC Champions host their Spring Showcase at the Glass Bowl on Saturday, April 8.

The event is free to the public and features a youth football clinic from 10:00-11:00 a.m., fan and youth activities from 11:00-noon and a controlled scrimmage that kicks off at noon. Parking is free from 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. in Parking Areas 6, 9 and 10.

The Rockets open their season on Sept. 2 at Illinois before hosting four consecutive games in the Glass Bowl. The Rockets’ home opener is on Sept. 9 vs. Texas Southern, followed by a matchup vs. San Jose State on Sept. 16. Toledo closes out the month of September with two home MAC contests vs. Western Michigan on Sept. 23 and vs. Northern Illinois in the Homecoming Game on Sept. 30.
