
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team posted a cumulative 3.418 GPA during the 2022 fall semester, the second-highest semester GPA in program history.
The Rockets put in work in the classroom last semester, with 84 percent of the roster achieving a 3.0 GPA, 53 percent of the roster attaining at least a 3.5 GPA, and seven student-athletes earning a 4.0 GPA. Andrew Clelland, Daunte DeCello, Patrick Dillon, Noah Johnson, Caden Konczak, Troy Sudbrook, and Jaxson Wright were all named to the President’s List for their perfect semester GPA.
The athletic department as a whole earned a combined GPA of 3.401 last semester, the highest semester GPA ever recorded by the Rockets using a normal grading scale.
It is the fifth consecutive semester in which Toledo student-athletes have set a new GPA record and the eighth consecutive semester in which they have earned a semester GPA of 3.3 or higher.
Other highlights from this past semester include:
- A record 74 student-athletes (19%) earned President’s List honors with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
- 201 student-athletes (51%) earned a spot on the Dean’s List by garnering at least a 3.50 GPA.
- 302 out of 393 (77%) total student-athletes made the Honor Roll by securing a 3.00 GPA or higher.
