Rockets Post 3.359 GPA in 2023 Spring Semester

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team posted a cumulative 3.359 GPA during the 2023 fall semester.

Thirty-one student-athletes from the baseball team earned Honor Roll accolades with a 3.0 GPA or higher and 19 were named to the Dean’s List with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Ten Rockets were named to the University’s President’s List with a perfect 4.0 GPA: Daunte DeCello, Wesley Parker, Troy Sudbrook, Jaxon Wright, Trey Wright, Caden Konczak, Andrew Clelland, Patrick Dillon, Luke Scoles, and Kade Wroot.

The athletic department as a whole earned a record GPA of 3.472 in the spring semester after setting a record in the fall with a 3.401 mark, capping the best academic year ever for Rocket Athletics.

Toledo student-athletes have set a new GPA record in each of the past six semesters, and have earned a semester GPA of 3.3 or higher in nine consecutive semesters.

Other highlights from this past semester include:

A record 77 student-athletes (21.0%) earned President’s List honors with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
A record 212 student-athletes (58.0%) earned a spot on the Dean’s List by garnering at least a 3.50 GPA.
295 out of 365 (80.8%) total student-athletes made the Honor Roll by securing a 3.00 GPA or higher, which is the highest percentage in school history to crack the 3.0 mark.
