BG Flea Market still going strong after 53 years

The Bowling Green Flea Market has been going strong for 53 years.

The market, which takes place at the Wood County Fairgrounds, is typically open the third weekend of the month from September through May.

Dan Condon is the first-year owner and operator.

Condon worked in the corporate world before he decided to devote his career to what brings him happiness and peace.

“I started setting up festivals and flea markets and things like that full time in 2010. I left the corporate world to do this because I enjoy. It’s a part of our income. Its how we make a living. We are in 3 antique stores as well plus set up at two to three shows still, and then we are in this one,” said Condon.

During the market you can find collectables, like crystals and toys, along with antiques, like military memorabilia and timeless music.
