Three BGSU football players arrested in bar fight

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (WTVG) – Three Bowling Green State University football players were arrested over the weekend for their involvement in a fight at a bar.

Bowling Green Police were called to Ziggy’s bar at 300 E. Wooster just before 2 a.m. Sunday morning for an assault.

The manager told officers that his bouncer was punched while trying to break up a fight between the players and another group, and that one of them put him in a chokehold.

After viewing surveillance footage, Caleb Goodloe, Brennan Ridley and Leo Kemp were all arrested.

Police said Goodloe and Ridley were seen on video punching the bouncer, while Kemp was seen putting him in a chokehold.

BGSU confirmed all three are members of the football team, but would not comment further.

All three face an assault charge.
