Hindsight Pizza Kitchen in Toledo has turned Thanksgiving favorites into two seasonal pizzas — including one topped with green bean casserole.
TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo pizza shop known for putting creative spins on comfort food has turned Thanksgiving dinner into two new pizzas for the month of November.
Hindsight Pizza Kitchen, located on Laskey Road, just launched a Loaded Thanksgiving Pizza and a Green Bean Casserole Pizza, both designed to bring holiday flavors to a crispy crust.
The Loaded Thanksgiving Pizza starts with garlic redskin mashed potatoes and layers of roasted turkey, homemade stuffing, sweet corn and turkey gravy, topped with a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Its companion pie, the Green Bean Casserole Pizza, is covered edge-to-edge with the shop’s house-made casserole, then finished with mozzarella, cheddar and a crunchy layer of french-fried onions.
Hindsight Pizza Kitchen has built a following in northwest Ohio for its creative menu and has earned several top honors at Sylvania’s annual Pizza Palooza. The Thanksgiving pizzas will be available throughout November while supplies last.
Whether these holiday slices sound delicious or daring, they’re certainly a new twist on Toledo’s comfort food scene.
