East Toledo police chase ends in crash, both suspects believed to be juveniles

TOLEDO, Ohio — Two people are in custody after an overnight police chase in east Toledo that resulted in a crash. 

According to Toledo police, officers attempted to pull over a stolen Dodge Durango around 1:15 a.m., but the driver led police on a chase through the neighborhood. The car ultimately crashed into multiple parked cars on Clark Street near Jay Street. 

Two people from the vehicle – both of whom are believed to be minors – were arrested. Another person was taken to the hospital with what police said were minor injuries. 

WTOL 11 observed neighbors outside checking out the heavy damage left by the crash. At least four vehicles suffered major damage.
