Collection drive in Maumee to benefit charitable organizations

MAUMEE, Ohio — A donation collection drive in Maumee will benefit local organizations. Here’s what to know. 

According to a press release from the city of Maumee, now through Nov. 21, the public is encouraged to drop off donations at the Maumee Indoor Theatre during regular operating hours. These hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Donations will benefit Under One Roof Food Pantry and bloom Women’s Counseling, Consulting and Wellness. Under One Roof Food Pantry is a collaborative effort involving six area churches, community groups and private donors. 

Items needed for the drive include:

• Canned goods
• Pasta
• Diapers
• Baby wipes and baby formula
• Feminine hygiene products

It operates out of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Maumee. Bloom Women’s Counseling, Consulting and Wellness is a psychotherapy and women’s wellness office, also located in Maumee.
