TOLEDO, Ohio — The acting principal of Birmingham Elementary, Dawn Wallin, has been suspended without pay following alleged violations of district policy regarding professional conduct.
According to a statement from a Toledo Public Schools spokesperson, Wallin will remain on leave pending the outcome of a disciplinary hearing.
“Due to personnel policies, the district cannot comment further on this matter,” the statement said.
No additional information about the nature of the alleged violations has been released.
